Is a Campaign of Germ Warfare Being Carried Out against Chicago Police?
Concern over infectious disease abandoned as migrants stuffed in police districts
It was 2020 and Chicago was in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Unlike the teachers in Chicago whose powerful union negotiated long periods of school closures, Chicago police officers worked not only their regular shifts but also overtime.
In the early days of the pandemic, the city was woefully unequipped to address even the most basic protections for officers, lacking even hand sanitizers for the districts. The officers had no idea what they were facing as they climbed into squad cars that had just been dropped off by a previous, potentially infected officer from the earlier shift. They entered hospitals and nursing homes to complete reports or initiate an investigation. Many came down with the virus. Several died. Others were permanently affected by the disease.
Rather than thank the officers for their commitment, the pandemic was seized upon by the one-party system governing Chicago and Illinois as a means to heighten the war on police in Chicago, by whatever means necessary.
Under former Mayor Lori Lightfoot, the city demanded police officers submit to vaccination under the threat of termination if they refused to comply. Highly suspicious of vaccine side effects, let alone its effectiveness, many officers refused. A battle between the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) and the city ensued.
The FOP went to court and a judge ordered that the city could not force the officers to get a vaccine, but could compel officers to register their vaccine status on a city data base, a mandate many officers rejected as an invasion of privacy.
By 2021, news outlets were claiming that half the rank and file faced unpaid leave if they did not obey city mandates. A back and forth followed, with the media in Chicago, perhaps the most committed institution in the anti-police movement, brimming with excitement, pumping out article after article attacking the police union as the city waged war on the FOP. Each article ridiculed officers who refused the vaccine and resented having to declare their status.
As the media assailed the FOP and officers for their opposition to receiving the vaccine, reporters also dutifully buried the growing evidence that not only did the vaccine fail to prevent infection, it posed serious, often lethal side effects to those who received it. Grudgingly, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) even acknowledged the fact that their vaccine mandates were not effective. To the surprise of no one, the CDC’s conclusions on the efficacy or risks of the vaccine never quite found its way into the reporting of Chicago media.
"They have revoked the idea of vaccination as a public health tool for stopping the spread of the infection, and therefore they have revoked any rational consideration of mandates for using something that has failed as a tool," Dr. Harvey Risch of the Yale School of Public Health stated. "So to me, the mandates are basically out the window at this point, and nobody can point to the CDC and say that the mandates are justified."
Evidence emerged the officers suspicious of the vaccines may have been right all along.
"We identify potential profound disturbances in regulatory control of protein synthesis and cancer surveillance. These disturbances potentially have a causal link to neurodegenerative disease... myocarditis, Bell's Palsy, liver disease, impaired adaptive immunity, impaired DNA damage response, etc."
The epidemic’s usefulness to manipulate, intimidate, harass, vilify, and trump up disciplinary charges against cops complete, Chicago is now moving in the opposite direction, using the migrant crisis for the same ends even though the city’s actions make a mockery of its COVID vaccine tactics against officers. The decision to place migrants in police stations poses a significant health risk to the members of the public with whom CPD officers interact.
Reports have surfaced that migrants have been discovered to be infected with tuberculosis. Similar reports have revealed migrant children with worms. Suddenly, the COVID infection that initiated hysteria against officers doesn’t seem to be a top priority from a city government once threatening to fire those who refused to obtain a vaccine. No such vaccine requirement seems to exist for the migrants, nor is there a demand a portal be established for the illegals to report their status on a weekly basis the way officers must.
Indeed, even as a new variant of COVID has been identified and new mask mandates are being considered by federal authorities, no consideration is being given for any risk to police officers in the districts transformed into migrant camps. No argument is being posited that this one issue alone, the risk of disease transmission in the middle of a pandemic, is enough to discuss returning the migrants home, let alone allowing the migrants to camp out in police districts.
The threat of infections to police comes as one local media outlet, CWB Chicago, one of the few legitimate media enterprises in the city, posts one story after another citing attacks on officers and citizens by the illegals, of thefts and street fights between hostile migrant camps.
The two events taken together, COVID rules for police and migrants, reveal the radicalism of Chicago’s elected leaders. Every crisis, whether real or manufactured, is employed to wage war on the police in the larger goal of undermining the criminal justice system, one of the elemental tactics of the left.
They also provide an eerie warning about the nature and tactics of the Democratic Party recreated by the ascendance of Chicago-schooled politician Barack Obama. Chicago is the laboratory for the tactics ultimately unleashed on the federal level. The daily imagery of migrants camped out in police districts throughout the city should serve as a warning to the rest of the country.
One other key factor keeps this laboratory humming: Chicago media. Now, the threat of COVID infection is wholly absent from any diatribe in the media. For Chicago’s mainstream media, the threats migrants pose and the burdens they are imposing on Chicago, particularly police, is simply ignored and is not to be discussed in reporting. Rather, the entire issue is framed around how Chicago will house, serve, and finance the migrants.
Media corruption aside, COVID is no joke. It has already claimed the lives of millions, including six police officers in Chicago. TB is also menacing, as is hepatitis and a host of other life-threatening infections.
In placing the migrants at police stations, the city of Chicago is proving once again the lengths to which it will go to wage war on the police and the criminal justice system.
Doubt it? Swing by your local police district. Bring a mask and hand sanitizer, and for God’s sake, don’t touch anything.
